56 Stock Gas Tank (in cab)

I want to get rid of the stock gas tank in the cab. I will most likely go with a fuel cell in the back. What would be a fair asking price? It looks in good condition, and I haven't looked to see if anything is living inside it.

I would prefer to have a side filler for the fuel cell, but does it look bad if it is top filled with a hole cut out of the bed? Has anyone gone this route?

You mean like this... there are some who have put the filler in the fender and bed side.

You can weld a piece in to fill the hole in the cab.

That doesnt look too bad. I kinda like it in the bed. Did you bed kit come with the hole pre-drilled or you had to cut it?

I put a 25 gallon Bronco tank in the rear and a side fill thru the fender. Here are the links:

There is a new mustang tank for rear under bed mount on eBay for $ 77.50 right now, just 16 gal, others there also.
