I been looking into doing the prepump filter and am going to do the intank mods as well. My question is are you just replacing the short piece of hose from the pipe to the pump and adding a filter or running it from the tank to the pump?

 

I'm planning on doing the mod then running a hose from the tank to a filter then to the stock pump. This should be more than enough.
