When the engine is hot or warm, the starter will have more resistance and will draw more amps to crank. You may have a starter trying to tell you something. Check the amp draw cold and when hot, see if there is a difference.
yep going to shaefer heard. actually going this weekend also. have you been there? it's probably our favorite campground for relaxing so it helps that it's also the closest to home. we were debating on wind creek but since it's been a while since we've camped we were wanting to relax...we go to wind creek for the party
Nope, havent stayed on Westpoint yet. Might have to get over there one day. Ive got to finish the cleaning of my camper, and start with the loading here pretty soon. I hate preparing for that first trip of the year, we always forget something.
My truck is starting the extended crank when hot as well. If I just get in and hit the key when it is hot it will crank longer. If I turn the key on and give it a couple seconds then turn to start it will fire right up.
I still learning about my truck as well but from what i gather the ICP (Injection Control Pressure) is a sensor that detects the HPO (Higi Pressure Oil) and tells the IPR (Injection Pressure Regulator) how much pressure is needed in the Injectors. The injectors in our trucks work off of very high pressure oil.
