Anyone know where I can find a Wiring Diagramn for the steering column on a 2001 F350 XLT Crew Cab 4x4.

Today I was under the dash (wiring in a new DVD player) on the drivers side and I noticed a cut wire (Black/pink) coming out the steering column. Truck seems to run fine, but I sure would like to know what this wire is for before I fix it.

That is the wire for the key chime switch. With it cut, it disables the "key in ignition" chime feature.

I will just Cap and Stow the cut wires. I really dont need to be reminded about my keys .

 

My truck is an '01 F250 7.3L Diesel, 4x4, Auto Trans.
Can anyone please tell me what wires coming out of the steeringcolumn under the dash control the "overdrive on/off button" that's on the end of the gear shift handle? I'm converting the truck to a floor shifter, and I need to identify those wires so I can move the functions to the new floor shifter. Thanks for your help!
