Trip to Rausch Creek PICS!!!!
Well my brother, father, and I went for a weekend trip to Rausch Creek Offroad Park in PA this weekend. Overall it was a ton of fun, but took a lot of hard work, money, and time to get there. Anyone here ever been there?
The trip was about 660 miles round trip.
Here are some of the pics!!!

Thanks guys! It was awesome, I'm so glad we went. The toys are a collaboration of my father, my brother, and myself. I wish they were all mine :] But I drive everything but the jeep on pretty much a daily basis.
Yeah, I am usually one of the few guys who does when we go places. I've seen like rock crawler truggies, but not usually other 3/4 tons. There were some pretty tight trails though. Its like fitting a camel through the eye of a needle. lol.
eh... yeah about that. Ha ha well I managed to find a particularly large rock. But unfortunately I was a little wider than I though and my wheel slipped off the side.. but hey, what is wheelin without a little carnage? Wish I had a little more money to fix things up better though..
The towing was the biggest risk of the trip. When we originally did the numbers, I assumed we would be over loaded.. but not that much. I also knew that our trailer fits both vehicles with about 8 inches of play room. So our loading had to be dead on and that motor would need to do work. But in the end it worked out. I'm telling you what, I've never been so proud of that 6.0 PSD. Going through the hills/mountains of Pennsylvania is a challenge for any haul, but that truck did it with class!! There was one particular 2.5 mile 8% grade that had us worried since it was in construction, and at the top the truck was running warm, but felt solid as a rock. I was truly impressed with the way that truck handled the haul, from off the line, to going up the hills, to braking that beast of a load. I'm not going to sit here and pretend like it felt as if there was no trailer back there; you for sure knew it was back there; but I never once was worried the whole time in any situation. I've never driven a tractor trailer, but if you ask me, it seemed similar. When I got that weigh slip, I had the biggest smile on my face you ever saw!! Be sure that I am going over the entire truck this week and making sure everything is in good order

Thanks so much for all the compliments. I feel like this trip more or less reaffirmed my infinite love for Ford trucks!!
Ha ha yeah, that is one thing I love about my truck. I always hold it over my brother about the size of his jeep compared to me SD. Although, in his defense, he usually fits through more trails. He can't bog though
It is exciting to take my truck to some of these places. Like I said, the trails can become tight at times, but the truck really handles just about everything the jeep does just fine; and I usually have much more ground clearance than anyone else.
