First off, if this is in the wrong section I apologize; this one just seemed the most relevant to the issue I have run into.
I will start off by saying the the engine swap (351 to 460) was done previously to me buying the truck; but the issue I have run into is directly related to the engine swap. I am trying to find some headers that will fit my application. The problem I have run into is that the headers will need to be shaped exactly like the stock 460 exhaust manifolds because the passenger frame rail had to be notched for the manifold to fit.
Has anyone else run into this problem before? I've been looking for hours and all I can find are full length headers. I thought I had found a set of headers from Hedman, but it turns out the picture associated with the part was incorrect. I am trying to get my research done now so when I get back from Iraq in a couple of months I can get to work on the truck. Thanks in advance for any information ya'll can share with me.

Reason: needed to add more information
Yes, that information would be very helpful; I apologize for omitting it. It is a 1988 F-250 standard cab, 4x4. Also, the 351 was fuel injected and the current 460 is carbureted. I am trying to talk my wife through getting some pictures of the engine bay.
have you contacted L&L products? Why cant you run long tube headers on that motor. that motor was an option for that year truck and there for the design of the headers should have taken the frame location into consideration. Perhaps the engine isnt sitting in the engine bay properly?
No I haven't talked to them yet. I've thought about how the engine sits in the truck as well, but it runs fine and everything mounts up as well (engine mounts, trans mounts, fan/shroud, etc.). It's been almost a year since I've looked under the hood of the truck so I'm trying to go off memory. Maybe once my wife gets some pictures I'll be able to visualize this a little better.
