[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Feb-02 AT 07:16 PM (EST)]I put this post in the Aftermarket section already, but figured it would be more suiting to put here. I just added Sylvania's "Xenarc" HID's to my 01 Xped. This Beautiful White Light makes my old Halogens seem like my parking lights. Sylvania offers a fully integrated kit...Including the housing...and the instructions couldn't be anymore detailed. All the clips and the tie straps actually came attached to cables and they told you exactly where clip them. Can't get any better than that! One Amazing Product!!!

once again nice shots, btw what kind of brush guard is that? Kinda mangled mine on some rocks,
In case you missed the other post... just wanted to know what did you pay for them? I got mine from www.suvlights.com and paid $100 less than the sylvania site.
seemed like a good deal but was wondering if you got a better one.
Thanks....The Brush Guard is made by "Grizzly"....On my site, located under my signature i have all the websites listed for Modifications on my truck, unfortunately i could not find a website for Grizzly. When i boungt it though, it was listed as a "Bumper Thumper" not a brush guard...not really sure the difference.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Feb-02 AT 11:46 PM (EST)]2 hours..thats it....the toughest part is getting all the pins to line up in the slots to properly lock the light back into place. You definately need (2) people, or possibly a clamp so you can line up the slots properly. The instructions are so detailed they actually show you where to clip everything in. Probably the easiest install of anything ive ever put on my truck.
anybody know where to find the a high wattage or yellow high beam H9 bulb that goes in there?
I kinda want a contrasting look with the HID whites and yellow.
suvlights.com mentioned they can swap out the D1R HID bulb for a D1S HC (high color ie more white/blue color) for a whiter and brighter light.
I'm thinking of building the brightest SUV, another 2 sets of HID lights and I'll be there!
Saw this ad in Truckin and Truckin's SUV for some HID lights from McCulloch (the chainsaw, lawn & garden, and power tool co!).
www.mccullochmotors.com and mccullochpower.com
they've got some cool lights, their offroad models have the ballasts in the housing so you don't have to mount it separately like Hella or KC. Plus the price is 1/3 less!
Just looking for a nearby dealer so I can go down and take a look in person. Anybody know of one in the LA area?
Ya, lining up the clips can be fun. I removed my lights to get my grille off to paint. Take your time, and they will fall into place . . rush it and it can be a nightmare!!
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-Feb-02 AT 09:14 AM (EST)]I should have put this in the initial string, but i forgot. This is a Hotlink right to the Instruction Manual PDF. That way you can see the install specs.
I didn't find a price on either SUVLights or Sylvania's website... can you give me an idea what the total cost was? I want some of these lights bad, they look so cool!
I paid $899.00 Direct throught Sylvania. The Prices are right on their website. Go to Automotive Lighting, then go to Xenarc Hids...Pick the Link that says F150/Expedition, then scroll all the way to the bottom for the price.
