Whats the going rate for having upper and lower ball joints replaced in 2007 F350 4x4 diesel at the Ford dealer?
Thanks Tore

I have been told anywhere from $1,200-$1,500.
I strongly suggest you do it yourself if you have any wrench-turning ability. It is really quite simple and easy to do yourself.
You can get the moog kit online (includes everything you need) for around $350.00, and a pair of new Timpken unit bearings for $450.00.
It will probably take you about 2 hours or less to take it all apart.
It will take about 45 minutes to remove/replace the ball joints.
It will take about 2 hours if you want to rebuild your autohubs.
It will take about 25 minutes to make your own outer seal installation tool, and then another 30 minutes to "press" on the 2 new seals.
It will then take about 1 1/2 hours to re-install the knuckles, hubs and bolt everything back into place.
If you need brakes, do them at this time also.
For under $900, you can perform all this maintenance work, worth more than $3,000 at the dealership, in 1 hard day or an easy weekend.
I just did all this work myself 10 days ago, including new rotors/brakes on all 4 corners. ($350 more)

If you were closer to me I would do it for you at my shop. I get 700.00 to do the job.
As the others posted though, if you can turn a wrench its not that bad to do.
Good Luck and if you need anything PM and I will give you my cel # and you can call me and I'll walk you through it.

My stepfather just had his replaced at an alignment shop for right around $800. His is an 03 but I believe the process and parts are the same.

I had Ford replace mine last fall. It cost me around $850 and I provided the ball joints.
Not the cheapest deal around, but the more I looked into doing the work myself, the more convinced I became that it would be more hassle than I could handle.
