if you can get the hubs, and have a matching srw rear, then it is possible to do something with. i was toying with the idea of s/d axles for a 78 that would be limited to 35's and mild duty. but to go through with the hassle of finding and swapping hubs, getting a matching rear, and buying new rims, it is just as cheap, if not cheaper to get a better srw dana 60 in a standard pattern. most people that are looking for 60 fronts aren't driving s/d's, but cheeto, buy what ever junk you want. hell, throw some s/d axles under your truck, wheel the **** out of it, and tell me if the cost is worth it.
