HPx and FRx

I'm rotten with the search feature... so if there's good threads on this, pass them on. Otherwise, what can you guys tell me about the above? I wanna make mine... my dad has the machine to make the high-pressure hoses and I don't see why the FRx would be hard. I wanna know what the fitting sizes are and where they go, what kinda hoses and fittings, ALL that good stuff! Diagrams and pictures would be AWESOME!!! Also, I'm planning on doing the in-tank mods (removing the mixer, extending the return tube) as well as replacing all the quick-disconnects, adding an in-line fuel filter and deleting the fuel bowl. I would like to do all this soon because it looks like I'm gonna be rebuilding my HPOP and I would like to at least get the HPx anf FRx done while I've got the top of the engine torn apart. Thanks guys!

Well... I don't mind the time. I like to make my stuff though and I was hoping to save a few bucks by making it. I'm just a college student so I don't have the money for it.

I will be installing the FRx soon, once my turbo is back from the shop. The FRx is a sweet piece of work, the engineering is done, and it is only $140. That should be conclusive. But if you have more ability and time than money, make a full regulated return set up, not an FRx clone.

And the HPX fitting are #5 ORB (1/2" straight cut threads).

Where are the ports for the HPx? I'm just trying to get this straight. Thanks for the FRx thread... I'll read it when I've got time.

Do you have the same thing for the FRx, Clay? That was VERY helpful!

All the ORB's I've seen are even numbered... could you give me some specifics about them?

I believe o-ring are sized in thenths of an inch, so a #5 ORB is 1/2", a #10 ORB is 1".
A #5 ORB is 1/2" with 20 TPI straight cut threads.

Funny... both the guys at Napa and CarQuest said that it was 16ths of an inch. i.e. #5 + 5/16". The guy at CarQuest makes custom hydraulic hoses and I can get the whole assy. for my HPx for just over $20!!! I'm doing that when the HPOP comes out... now, to figure out the FRx. Does that also have to be done while the top is torn apart?

They're thinking of AN (army/navy) fittings.
