This is pretty simple, but my memory isnt so hot on this..
Back glass removal, pull the weather stripping up and away from the inside of the cab, and push the glass out the back, or pull the weather strip up and away from the cab, and push the glass to the inside?? Any tips too while we are at it?
remove all the plastic trim from around the inside of the cab. lift up lip of the seal on the inside of cab and insert 1/2 rope all the way around glass. push outword on upper corner of glass and work around the top as it comes out.
reinstall; install 1/4 rope in channel of seal all round glass but have about 6+ inch's hanging down of rope(best spot in a corner), where they come together. sit bottom of seal on bottom of lip of cab with two hang rope on the inside of cab. spray seal with some WD40. as you pull inward on the rope, it will pull the lip of seal over metal lip of cab.
I thought it was.. It has been seriously forever since I played around with the back glass on these trucks, and since it has been, things were slipping my mind on that! LOL!
I wanted to see about getting that back window out of my donor truck, and perhaps even thrown in mine, since I have the solid glass window, and the donor window has the slider.
