Hello every1 great looking site u guys have here. I decided to join now that I have another ford truck. It is a 1980 F100 Custom, with a 302 4spd granny low stepside truck. It's in decent shape. I have to do a motor swap and completly redo the bed. I was going to flatbed it but I found an 85 that I can take parts off for $200. I traded a guy an old mustang I had even up for my truck. I love it!!!! I use to own an 81 f150 Custom. Still have it, going to use it for parts. I will be asking various questions now and again u all seem very knowledgeable here. I hope to share my welth of knowledge. I will try to post pics, but the only internet I have is on my phone. So I haven't figured how to do it yet. Here is a list of what other vheicles I currently have..... 1983 mercury Capri 351W with a C4, 1996 GMC 4X4 305 auto, 1972 Ford LTD 400M C6, last but not least my babby. Lol 2004 Mach 1 4.6L 5spd. I prefer manuals and that's what drew me to this truck. It needs a lot of tlc witch I will give it while I'm driving it. Well hope u guys have a great day.
Welcome to FTE 83capril, I really like your bio ''I bleed blue''!
It sounds like you have some great plans for your 1980 F100, there`s plenty of helpful info in this site.
Swing by your local Illinois Chapter and meet the fine folks in there too: Illinois Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
Thanks for the welcomes, I did checkout the illinois chapter. I tried to join, I may be doing something wrong. I'm going to look more into it. I am a die hard Ford person. Yes I own a GMC, just because it's all I could find/afford at the time. I hope to bring the F100 back to life. It will just take time. I love looking at what some people have done with there trucks here. It's a good community, like some of the othere forums I'm on. Friendly, honest people. I love it!!!!
usually your chapter leader will have an interactive link that will take to it. or go to the user cp and go to group and select your chapter. and join. its not hard. uploading pictures is tricky. and i own 2 dodges too. my shadow and my 68 coronet stock car....
