Thunk when decelerating

"Thunk Noise"
I have been hearing this “Thunk” noise when my truck is coming to a stop since I purchased it back in 2007. Since then I have had the rear differential rebuilt, carrier bearing replaced, drive shaft grease and aligned, new brakes and I still get the “Thunk” noise. I suspect the rear leaf springs. I have taken it to many mechanic and 4x4 pro shops and no one has yet to figure out what is causing the noise. My brother said just turn the radio up and the noise will go away.
