It looks like I have an extra set of mounts, towers, and buckets. Very nice shape. I may have an extra set of headers, also. I do have the stock, correct cast iron exhaust maifolds as well. I thought I'd ask here first...
RM: It is nice of you to help out fellow members here, but it might help if you were to specify if these are factory 460 mounts and what year truck they came out of.
Although factory '73 - '79 460 mounts came only in '74 or so to '79 F-250 2WD trucks, they will bolt in to any '65 - '79 2WD F-100/150/250. (I am ignoring anything larger than a 250, as Ford did use 385s in larger trucks, but they will not fit the anything normally discussed in this forum).
Ford did not offer a 460 in 4WD trucks until the '80s. There are aftermarket mounts made to put a 385 into '70s 4x4, but they are not the same as those for a 2WD.
And in similar manner, 385 mounts for the '80s trucks will not install into the '79 and earlier trucks.
Finally, there are aftermarket mounts made to put a 460 into a '64 or earlier truck.
Confuzled yet??!!
Sorry it has taken me so long to post, had a bit of a situation. Yes, I should have been more specific, I just assumed (ya, we all know the trouble that gets us into), that everyone would know these are factory mounts. I treid to be specific that they included the engine side of the mount also, as this seems to be the piece always missing. Anyway, they are factory mounts, in good condition. Thay have been bead blasted and painted, and include the big bolts that mout the bucket to the rubber mount, and the rubber mount to the tower. The long tower has had a small crack in the corner repaired. It's on the top corner of the short side of the long leg, if that makes sense. The actual rubber mounts are in good condition, and have loads of life left. I'll e-mail pics to anyone interested. Again I'm sorry..I was trying to keep the post short, and figured I'd pm the info and pics if anyone was interested. Santi, this is the exact set I have in my truck. So I know for sure they work. As for a price, I was hoping for something in the one fifty range, but that's not in concrete. I know it will cost a couple bucks to ship, they are a bit heavy, so that will come in to consideration as well. Again, I'm sorry for the confusion....I was hoping to do just the opposite....
