dual or single shocks?

i have a 92 f150 4x4 with a 300 and dual shock set up, soon i will be doing a solid axle swap with a dana 44 which only has mounting for a single shock.i also have a extra coil bucket for a single shock set up,should i go with a single set up or go the extra mile for the duals?90% road driving and 10% off-road.what would be the pros and cons for the single vs duals?or any other options/ideas would be great?
