What a coincidence I spent my whole morning loading mulch onto trucks. Only sucky part is the gas shock on my skidsteer's door is shot so it is a PITA to open and close now and it swings shut whenever it wants to. Gotta replace that...
i found a thread about it, apparently its a common problem. i found a fix for it that involves milling a bleed off hole to keep pressure from building up under the metal portion of the seal. i guess it just hydraulicly presses the seal out of the bore. i think thats what happened, i didnt take the trans out yet because it was smoking hot.

Ray how much did the dumping pickup bed system you've got cost you and who is it made by? Kinda thinking I may be interested in putting one on my truck once I put a new bed on it. We don't have a small dump truck and I don't really want to have to drive a commercial truck all the time and I could get some decent use out of it.
