If it wasn't for screwing up my whole sleeping schedule, I loved working overnight. You just worked, got it done. Didn't have to worry about any kind of customers, or phone calls. No traffic in or out. Too bad it screws up every other part of your life, haha.

Roger, I'm doing fine, TY

When I do cover day-shift, I get up at 0430 and on the road by 0445 for a start time of 0600.

We do a nine hour shift so I'd get off at 1500 and if I'm lucky back home by 1600 ish.

Josiah, I can understand your age related perspective.

I enjoy the evening shift, I can sleep in and get up without an alarm clock.

The commute to work is usually an easy ride in, going home too when there isn't highway construction

Daughter finds it convenient too, she regularly calls for a midnight pickup from her boyfriends place which isn't out of the way.

holy crap what a day at work. 12:40 and i just got home, went in at 7. all so a customer can get his "lemon law" replacement vehicle by tomorrow. i had to assemble and install shelves, ladder rack, 3000 watt inverter in the back (and wired to the front where the batts are), fancy center console file cabinet thing, and perform the first warranty repair at 7 miles on the odometer. mercedes, what a JOKE!

it would have been a short day but the parts for the van didnt show up until 2pm. and of course nothing fit correctly. i would strongly recommend staying away from "Ranger" products. they are light and look pretty but they SUCK. the fitment is terrible, and they cant handle any serious weight.

oh well, im done ranting. i must go to sleep now, good night!
