Kill Switch wiring - anyone have a good wire?
I'm looking for a low-current wire to splice in a switch to throw to the 'off' position to not allow the truck's ignition to work (even if it does turn over).
Without me spending time and getting greasy, does anyone have an appropriate place and color of the wire I might want to use?
Much thanks.

Sounds like a plausible idea.
Could the truck start -at all- with the fuel present near the injectors (even if for only a little bit) if the fuel pump is shut off?
I kinda like an ignition kill, as when I do oil changes I like to spin the motor for a little bit before starting it to get it to fill the oil filter up for that much less of a dry start.

One easy way would be to put the switch in the start relay coil(control) circuit. You could break either the power OR ground side. This is the low current side of the relay so a small gauge wire(16 or 18) would work. That way the engine would NOT even crank let alone start. You would turn the key and get nothing with the switch in the open position.
