Does anyone know if the wires for the aux upfitter switches are in the dash even if I don't have the switches? I have them in my '06 and use all of them but '11 no switches. I would like to install them now if all of the wires are there and set to go.
If you're asking to install the factory AUX switches, the kit comes with everything you need.
It's modular type plugs so you add the fuse box, run a bundle of wires to the PCM or whatever it tells you to connect it to then run another bundle of wires to the switches.
I did it a year ago and it's easy I just don't remember exactly what I did.
I posted the process around here somewhere after I did it and other members have posted even better instructions.
I've attached a few documents and a URL for you to hopefully help this process.
Thanks I will check it out, just wasn't sure if they had the wires in place like some other applications I have seen in the past. Would be nice to just pop them in and be done but will do what I have to.
I added the pkg last year too and it was real easy EXCEPT for 1 connector buried way up under the dash. That alone took as long as the rest of the install. Once you find it, if you have a kid with small hands it would be easier to do. Overall, pretty good kit and goof-proof too.

The install was very easy. I used the information out of the tech folder to do it. I don't have anything connected yet. I plan on using one for high idle and another for auxiliary lights.
I just bought them from PartsGuyEd.com. He has a link on his home page that takes you right to the upfitter kit: www.partsguyed.com
The kit is on his site right now for $129.73.
Price change - $130.57
I asked why online reflected a different price and the response was that the owner had restricted the access to change online pricing and that person is out for medical reasons....
