I have a 2008 F150 Limited and I was thinking about installing a Lund SunVisor II.
Does anyone have any pictures of an F150 with a windshield sun visor installed?
My wife thinks it would look to childish supped up, I think it looks nice. I think she just does not want me to spend the money. What do you think I should do it?
If they still use the old nomenclature, the sun/moon visors are blockish in style. The Lunar/Solar visors are the more rounded/aerodynamic style. Plus the Sun/Solar are unlighted and the Moon/Lunar are lighted. A friend of mine used to say "if you're going to be a bear, you might as well be a grizzley" I would pick the Lunar to get it all, aerodynamic styling plus cab lights.
I had a old style non lighted visor installed on my Dodge years ago and I loved it, so much I've been wanting one on my 250 since I bought this truck new just never pulled the trigger yet. One thing I notice that draws me away from the Lunar, its a nice looking visor but it doesn't seem to be as funtional in blocking the sun as the original one, IMO, from what the pics look like to me. I say go for it if you like them..Take your wife out to dinner and a movie first before you order it..
