bumper work

Hey just wondeing if anyone has any tips or information and or opinions on how to go about bending bumper mounts back into place on a ford van e 350 cargo. Basically what i need to do is get the bumper mount on the passenger side pushed back into place so that the bumper sits better. right now it looks like the mount has been pulled forward a bit.
Could you use a torch to heat up the mount and then hit it back more into place with a sludge hammer?

If anyone has any insight on this let me know.
Thanks alot

Heat is aways the best way to bend heavy metal. just be sure to look closely at other side or another trucks mount to see how it SHOULD be!
