Try a salvage yard for some bumper mounts that might fit. You may find a truck with a similar type bumper. If all else fails... -Fabricate!

Thanks for using FTE!

i have the same problem here in the midwest. 99% of the trucks here received step bumpers. i have a set of the 73-79 brackets and a set of the 65-72 brackets and am considering having them reproduced before i stick them on a project and have to hunt some more. the lag time in between ordering this done and receiving the product is sometimes quite long but i do get a super price. if you are not in to big of a hurry let me know. thanks. jim

Nope. There were two types of bumper mounts:

1. One had the brackets attached to the bumper.

2. One had the brackets attached to the frame.

Bumpers are not interchangeable between bracket types. Find NOS brackets is tough and everything we sell is new, new old stock, reproduction, licensed production or original tool --- ie, nothing used. Unless you get lucky salvage yards are the best bet.
