sounds good i hope mine is running half as decent when im done. I found my problem though, after trying to start the truck today It wouldnt stay running. I checked the carb and there was gas running out the carb to egr plate. I will get some gasket sealer and put on both sides so the leak stops. Im getting there 1 step at a time
I have thought about a four barrel swap on both my 1982 f-150 and my 1985 bronco. How did you hook your throttle up?

That's awesome you got it started. If you have all the plastic color coded vacuum lines, they're known to have vacuum leaks. It's best to pretty much remove all of them and put in all new lines. Not too expensive, but it gets rid of a lot of leaks.

There are aftermarket throttle cable hookups that bolt directly to the carburetor. I believe Lokar makes them.
As for me, I just made my own out of plate steel and bolted it to the intake. You can see pictures in my supermotors pics. The link should be in my signature. Nothing fancy, but it works just fine.
Thanks, I'm not looking for any as fancy as lokar makes, I just want away from that dingy one barrel. Your "custom" set up may just be what I'm looking for.
