Yes, the C6 was made to fit the small block bellhousing pattern. The 300 uses the small bellhousing pattern as the the 302/351W. These are fairly easy to find, as most pickups/vans from mid 70's to sometime in the 90's, that were equiped with a 3 speed auto, had the C6.
A C6 should be a bolt-in swap for a C4, though you may need to tweak the cooler lines a bit.
