I know this has been discussed before, but someone mentioned this the other day.
First my truck seems to wander right and left. The steering is REAL responsive. I have to watch that I don't over correct if it starts to go one way.
The suggestion someone made was that it could be the tires. There was a truck that was in this garage for the similar reason, the tires were replaced and the wandering was gone.
When we bought the truck the tires were near new.
could be tires, try to rotate them. Also check for correct tire pressure. maybe up it or down it, but don't go less than the min or max pressure recommended.
You might also have incorrect tires for the truck. What are they? size?
Look at the cert label on the door pillar.
If none of this works then you may look at a steering stabilizer.
Confirm senix's ideas. The stabilizer could be at fault but doubtfull.
Give us some more history on the truck as far as mileage, upgrades, service repairs or similar. When was the truck last aligned?
You could have an issue with ball joints, tire rods, track bar bushings etc...
