I replaced the tires on my f250 with BF Goodrich All Terrain TAs. Now the truck wanders all over the road. Just wondering if anyone else had the same problem and how it was corrected. I like the tires but have a hard time keeping the truck in the lane. Had new ball joints and shocks installed before the tires. Took the truck to the dealer and they cant find anything wrong. They only said it could be the tires.
Did you go with the stock size, or jump one size wider? If they are the same, try rotating fr to rr. Also replace your front steering stabilizer if it has more than 100k on it.
E range. I pull a 32 ft 5th wheel trailer but with the way the truck wanders around im afraid to even try to pull it. Havent tried yet.
What is your truck? Without knowing more, I recommend going to max tire pressure and replacing your stabilizer if it is original. If that doesn't cure it, take it back to the tire dealer and tell them to figure it out.
