I have torqed mine to 140 ft lbs,,,never had a problem with them loosening!
Maybe some heat and a Impact socket,,,Good Luck !!
Because it must have been WAY too tight!
Many people tend to think that tighter = better when it comes to lugnuts. In my opinion the OP was fortunate to probably have the most benign symptom of this rather than the catastrophic failure that it can cause.
Worst case scenario here is the studs or nuts could have broken and the wheel could have come off while driving.
So I think it's worth mentioning again: Use a torque wrench!

Nah, I just finger tighten them. lol.
Seriously though, I agree. Torque wrench, and start them by hand first. I have seen a TON of cross threaded lug nuts due to them being started with an impact.
OK, here's just a bit of food for thought.... If that one's been tightened that much what about the rest of them? It probably would be a good idea to check out all of the lug nuts and studs on all the wheels, take them off and reinstall them using the torque wrench.
