Travis, your assumtion is wrong, I tow in heavy tow mode. Its a good thought to try the normal tow mode but in playing around with it towing a light trailer once it is less powerful. I appriciate you talking to Tony for me!! I also can't green bean you, darn!
Rich, I was up in your area five years ago after we left Canada and the Prince Edward Inland area. We haven't made it to the east coast a whole lot but plan on going to Virgina in the fall to see our daughter who just moved there. She lives about a hour's drive from D.C., is that far from you?
We got the most professional hijackers in all of FTE in the OBS forum, as well, and most likely, the most knowledgeable people on FTE in here as well.
Thats a bold statement with the knowledge part, but when it comes to TJ, Cuda, madvan and rick and a few others in here, their knowledge in EVERYTHING is just insane.
Glenn, D.C. is a pretty long drive from here but maybe I'll have a little road trip when you head up this way. You know.... the fall foliage is amazing around here =) haha
Travis, my boost numbers are the same before and after. I read that this is to be expected.
I'm not helping the "off topic" problem, but, why is it that more CFM with the D66 doesn't produce more boost with no other changes? I can't get a grip on this one or find other posts.
Also, I went through the pain of removing and sending my D66 back to be checked out - told "No Problem Found" - tests/checks like other D66's. Looks like I've got to get some different tunes.
William, she move to Front Royal just before the historic snowfall that closed down the capital. She's in charge of the cheetah breeding program at the national zoo.
Falcon, are you four hours south of DC? I'll have look at the map again but last time I did we thought about a big southwest loop back to AZ to our winter house. Your sure right about the hijacking, I feel soooo bad. Sorry Jesse the TheTowingCowboy!
Rich, I have heard the color change is breath taking around there. I'm from Michigan and it beautiful there and I would like to see your area to compare! Road trips are good! Mine now is from AZ to NE to Wi, to MI, to VA then back to AZ and all the states inbetween.
Now, having said all that, I have to get rid of these loose ends I have in NE and start working on my PSD. I need that awsome pulling machine back! Thanks to you all.

That's a good question, one that I don't have the answer to. I was just told that it has more air volume thus less EGT's. In my case its the same boost and more EGT's

Yea, I forgot you were from MI Glenn. Not much like Michigan color. Especially in the U.P.

Yeap, Born in Detroit, moved to the suburbs then went to college in Mt. Pleasant. Then I went to work for Ford's only to be laid off. Didn't you live in Mt. Pleasant then move, why are you at now?

Glenn, whichever tow tune has less power will produce the lower EGT's. not sure which tune you were saying had less power. haha. i wasn't able to get back to messaging Tony back about this today b/c i was swamped at work among other things. bout the only calls i could make was to my tranny guy and to David at DI to get him to send my ATI damper. Don't worry though, we will figure out what's wrong with your EGT's being high. a thought just came to mind that may be something or may be nothing at all. the thought is that perhaps with the added flow of the D66 it finally pushed out the seal of your intake plenums, but i'm sure you'd notice a change in boost pressure.. Once you are able to look for boost leaks and retorque the uppies then we can try/think of other stuff.
