01 bank 2 running lean code
I have a 01 f150 and had a few o2 codes and replace both upstean sensors. then i got a running lean code a few days later. I found a plug wire that was grounding out "discolored and leaning on metal" so i replaced the plugs and wires. still got lean code. i checked for vacuum leak didnt find one. trim values are a little higher on bank 2 compared to bank 1. but im nut sure what they are supposed to read.

The long term fuel trim is supposed to be within ± 3%. If it is outside that, you have a vacuum leak that is only affecting that bank. Either that or you have a plugged injector, which would be accompanied by a misfire. When these vehicles start to get a little age it is not uncommon for the intake to develop leaks in the intake manifold. These are very difficult to detect. Perhaps someone with a smoke machine could check it out for you to either find the leak, or prove that the problem lies elsewhere.

my 99 5.4 had that same problem and i replaced the o2 sensors i dont know how many times and then i finely checked to vacuum hoses and the one behind to throttle body had a small hole it and was all dry rotted and the local auto parts store had no idea what that was and couldnt find it in there little book so i just put a dab of silicon on it and taped it and i hasnt tripped that code since then
