Rotella synthetic is what I used the last oil change and this time I used regular, that should not cause any issues right? How about coolant, just regular 50/50 green prestone?

Regular green coolant will cause problems. If you have it in your system it should be changed and THOROUGHLY flushed - immediately.

With that said, I'd be inclined to pull that filter out and see if it has come apart.

Oil....Some aftermarket filters have been known to come apart and cause engine damage. Also what Bismic said. Get that green coolant out of your engine.
