wind from steering wheel

anyone else freeze their crotch when driving in winter? I've got a nasty draft blowing out the bottom of the coloum. Not that I like to complain about a breeze between the knees but what the f.

If it's only when moving, there's probably a grommet in the firewall that's not in right.

It's only when i'm moving but if it was a gromet you would think the wind would be down by my feet. This wind is comming from the seam behind the airbag/center of the wheel. It's no small amount at -35c and 110km/hr you cant use the lower part of the wheel without gloves.

try to put a trouble light in the engine compartment facing towards the fire wall and look inside the cab if you can see the light

no light its not in the fire wall its comming out the steering column.

OK are you getting warm air in the summer if so check inlet air duct for a crak

I dont see any cracks but I would think that would create cold feet and knees. It's not comming from below the dash its from behind the airbag in the wheel. Probably blow my hair back without the airbag.

then you may have to get dealer look at it air bags could be dangerous if not handled properly good luck
