I have had mine on for just over 2000 miles now and it is still flowing strong. I had 78000 on the truck when I installed it and no cooler issues before this.

How soon did your first filter plug up or required a change?

My first one lasted about 300 miles. You actually are lucky. Don't feel disappointed.

I changed mine for the first time after 3 months, about 6,000 miles, but it wasn't plugged. I cut it open and there was a lot of sand in the media.

I am not disappointed. It actually makes me feel pretty good. I am in the minority here from some of what I have read in the past.

Out of curiosity, have you gotten your eot/ect readings? If not you really don't know.

Yes, I installed an Edge insight when I did my coolant filter. I run about 6 degrees apart on the highway and about 4 in the city.

No kidding. I am close enough. Too bad I work this weekend or I would try talking my CFO into it.

My first filter went 350 miles and the second 1000. Third is still going at 5000 miles. I checked it yesterday.

I just changed my second filter with 3000 miles on. About a teaspoon full of sand. Next one I wont change for quite a while. Happy to be collecting sand, no matter the amount.

Dieselsite.com It comes with one filter, but buy a couple extra to save on shipping later. 1/2 hour install.
