Torque Converter Swap
Hey guys, I have a buddy who has a new body style 2000 7.3L and he wants to upgrade his torque converter. Handily enough I have a spare one kicking around for my E40D from my 95 PSD. I was wondering if this will work in his truck? I have dropped transmissions plenty of times so it's not a problem from that perspective, just wondering if it will work in his truck with the newer transmission? It's a triple disk lockup converter if that helps. I know that aside from some different electronics these transmissions aren't very dissimilar. Any advice is welcome.
