Hey guys, I bought a set of 44x19.5-16.5 Boggers ON 16.5x12 Aluminum Rock crushers. with 85% tread for $1400!! No cuts or slashes. The guy never used them!
Now just the task of getting them to fit properly.. Cut the front bumper to get turning clearence. Gonna have to hit just the edges of the fenders as well. But not too bad with only 10" of lift.
screw it, your good at fabrication. sounds like the perfect time to make a beefy front bumper, cause 44's just mean you are gonna get stuck worse now. so i see a heavy duty bumper with some d rings and a receiver hitch in your future. and if you don't want to just chop the fenders, start saving for some cutout fender flares, cause with that shackle reversal when the front flexes it moves rearward into the fenders, and when boggers catch, they catch good. and i assume you don't want mashed up fenders, cause your truck is in pretty decent condition bodywise
If they guy never used them how did they get to 85%?
Sweet deal, they look good! just beware of those rock crushers...
Any info on rock crushers?
Thanks guys! got alot of work to do. Im trying to decide. Keep the full tire look, or lift it, or make the wheel wells bigger. Just kinda seems out of proportion with the tire hieght.
I had to cut the front fender for clearence and the front bumper until I can build one . But at full stuff everything clears! barely! lol. Only 10" of lift.
Im going to use the second set of wheels in the pictures powder coated black, cause the black soft 8's I had looked awesome. So I want it to match. Im not really liking the rock crushers on my truck. Just not the right look I think.
