To check the ball joints, it should be noticeable as far as movement goes by jacking the front end up and watch the ball joints for movement as the weight is taken off the tires, and when weight is put back on the tires when letting it back down. As for tie rod ends, just grab the tie rod and see if it's loose. This can best be done with the front end off the ground too, or at least one side. Also, with one side off the ground, you can shake the wheel and look for any movement in the steering assembly. Steering box could have some slack inside it too.

The 02 has high idle, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp, 140smoke, and 120 stock tranny. I usually drive in the 75 setting.

he didn't really tell me exactly what each tune was, he just wrote them down on the card. i got hi idle daily tow stock street and extreme. i figured extreme would be pretty smokey but on street it smokes like crazy. i never expected it. do you like their injectors? i've never really heard anyone on here talk about how well they like injectors from different companies

The injectors made a bigger increase in power than the chip. Going from 90cc to 150cc is quite a jump. I have nothing to compare them to, so yes I like them a lot. There is a local guy up here that I met that is a distributor for them. That is how I found out about them. I have read on here that if you want to blow a lot of smoke that there are other tunes out there that are better for that. But I like what I have. Besides, smoke is unused fuel!!

i was kind of complaining about how much mine smokes. i mean i like it now and then but its annoying when i have to leave it on economy anytime im on a main road around people. i wish i could get it to clean up a little bit

My 02 hardly smokes at all except in the 140 mode. You might have a boost leak, or perhaps you need to get some different tunes on it. The 100 smokes a little, and so does the 70, but you have to get on it from idle to get that to happen. In the 50 setting, it's clean. The 97, now that's a different story. She likes to smoke, but I attribute that to the 150cc injectors. With the factory sticks, it didn't smoke at all.
