It's a chunk just for parts--well over $1000 U.S. just for the cover and oil cooler. No clue on labor hours. well worth the extended warranty cost in one trip
Yup, it's pretty much paid for itself and then some. I'm sort of keeping the rear main in the back pocket until just before it expires. The Ford extended warranties are a good idea. Just make sure that you get the "Plus" one. The regular one doesn't even cover injectors. With the repair costs of todays engines, I think it silly that one wouldn't get one.
