suspension lift question

I have an 05 EX with the fabtech lift(bought it this way). I would like to go larger, but prefer to not spend more $'s (if possible) on a new 8" lift. What suggestions do any of ya have?

Current set up is the Fabtech 5.5" Leafspring lift with 1" blocks for the rear.

I would prefer not to go with shackles.

TIA

So you want 1.5" more? I think I've seen an add-a-leaf type spacer for maybe 1" more. I can't recall the price or the manufacture. You could also drop in an add-a-leaf. Other than that, you will have to adjust the shackles or buy new springs as far as I've seen.

So Lunatic, what are you trying to do? More lift for a larger tire? More lift because you need clearance for what you have?

More facts when you are trying to save money gets you better answers.

I would like to go up to 37s. I do wheeling in my Jeep and the Ex both. I do expeditions in my Jeep and would like to do it in the EX as I want to take my 3 kids, 2 dogs, wife and gear with me without having to haul my expedition trailer behind the Jeep.

not a whole lot you can do without spending a good amount of money.... the easiest and safest thing to do is just buy a 8" kit... other than that you can do shackles or new full 8" front springs and blocks in the rear... but by the time you price out all the parts you need seperately it would be cheaper to just get a full complete kit...

If you need to get rid of your existing lift. Let me know I would be interested in buying it. How high is it?
