ok thanks i will writing all of those websites down. I am new to this site so bear with me for awhile. The lingo is killing me. But i will have to say man you guys know your stuff on here its amazing, next year i will be graduating high school and i would like to go into diesel mechanic's any input? This site is just like dootalk.com its loaded with info just have to get to know people and understand whats going on and how things work. It was kinda funny i start with dootalk and next thing i know i am working on my buddys sleds haha its a start to a hobby i love

Just a word of advice... Diesel Mechanics are having trouble getting jobs a lot of places right now. I have two friends that graduated from Wyotech as diesel mechanics and one is working just above minimum wage at the Ford dealership lube rack, and the other worked at a truckstop for a while but hasn't found a job as a mechanic in the past few months.
If it's something you love, you always have it as a hobby. Sometimes having it as your job takes the joy out of it. Just my opinion.
