I am thinking about a tuner, air intake, and a magnaflow muffler to start off with. I don't know which I will do first. The question is, is it worth it to do any of these mods? If you have done them would you do it again? I just don't want to waste my money on something that will not help. I am not going to be flooring it everyone. I just want some mods that will help with normal takeoff and driving speeds.

 

99 the way I look @ it is like this :

The first mod "I" made was a new sound system then wheels,running boards,seat cushons & a few other small things. Next will be power windows & locks & maybe an alarm. Down the road maybe an exhaust system / maybe.. I'm not going to try & justify the exhaust system by telling myself or the wife it will add gph or even performance / if I do it then its because of the sound it makes.

Seems like the mods that have been done to my TRUCK have been things to make it " MINE" the way "I" wanted it & thats that!!!! Not to come across harsh because I'm not intending to but if I wanted to have a 0-60 vehicle I'd have bought a sportscar not a truck.

I love my truck & will keep my eyes out for other things I can add. I've even had several issues w/ mine & still love it. Good luck w/ your mods & again don't take any of this the wrong way / all I meant to say is : make YOUR truck the way YOU want it & be as happy w/ it as you can.

I just read some of these posts & want to shake some of you & scream " Its a TRUCK "

I traded my 04 XLT 4.6 Screw in for a Lariat Screw 4x4.
I put almost all the same mods that i had on my XLT on my Lariat.
Diablo tunner ,Volant Intake and AeroTurbine Exhaust. I
heard some negative input about the Volant for the 5.4 so I went with the Airraid Jr so you asked if i would do it again LOL Spend your money how ever you wan't to
