yeah i could too, if i drove a chevy. k30's litter the farms all around me. i can find dually ford 60 fronts all the time for cheap, but after you do the hub conversion to single wheel your sitting in the same price range a just finding a single wheel 60

i don't know if i'm too worried about d60's for a while. my new toy is a 78 1/2 ton, and i think it's gonna stay with 35's or less for a while, not even sure how long i'm gonna keep it. i gotta call a guy in a bit here and see if i can go back to my old job, and then i'll have some cash to play with. i've been finding some nice trucks for good prices, so i might just start buying and junking the crap, and save the good stuff from a few to make 1 good truck

what's your point? i said i would junk the crap. crap being rusted beyond use body panels, and possibly frames, maybe axles. and i said i would save the good stuff for myself. unless you want to spend $1500+, around here, the trucks are half way stripped and gutted by now. at least all the cheap old fords i find are

Yeah well it all works out as long as scrap prices are up.
I noticed there's generally two kinds of people I get to deal with.
Those guys that know what its worth and try to offer you way less;
Those guys that THINK they know what its worth and get mad you want so much.
