Disarming security system
1995 Ford Ranger V-6. I would like to know if it is possible to disarm the security system. It has been acting up lately and just using key or remote to lock unlock door has not been resetting it. Twice since Saturday I have had to remove neg batter cable and wait 15 minutes for computer to reset in order to start truck. Major PIA ! Thanks in advance.SEG

anyone have any ideas? twice this weekend truck would not start and I had to disconnect neg cable and wait ten minutes. FYI This is happening when I am not even locking the truck which would activate security system. HELP !
