Transmission intermittent hard shift

I recently pruchased a 2004 F250 with 135,000 miles. I did not notice any problem with the transmission when I test drove the truck but after driving the truck more I have noticed that it will shift hard occasionally and one time it shifted very hard into overdrive. Noramlly it shifts very smooth. The very hard shifting seems to occur if I let off the gas a little just before it is about to shift. I took it to a local transmission shop and there were no codes. After driving the truck the mechanic recommended changing the MLPS and the TPS. I was hoping someone had a similar problem and could give me some direction before I started changing sensor. I have noticed that the RPMs will go up a little and right back down occasionally (hardly noticable). Not sure if that is related but I think that is why I was told to replace the TPS.

have the same problem in my other truck... v10 auto.. 99.5
hoping someone have this problem too!

Sorry to hear that but I'm also glad I'm not alone. Maybe someone else will see this that had a similar problem and knows a fix. Have you done anything to fix it yet?
