Bed Mounted Spare Tire?

being from the "desert scene" the bed mounted spares are really common.
I've made quite a few setups in the past years similar to the link below.
One nice piece you can buy is the + shaped conical wedge that is shown in the bottom pic in the link. The keep the rim secure and keep from damaging the center bore.

If you are a little creative and good with metal there are LOTS of cool ways to do spare mounts.
