The DashDaq is a sweet looking unit. It is high on my priority list, however funds simply haven't become available yet.

No I just got the DashDaq. I have a SCTx3 which I am happy with so I figured I would save some coin there. I have had it for 3 years now and if Spartan was a little faster with the release I would have had one but it didnt work out that way.
I got it with the Ford Bundle so it should do a lot. I have a in dah NAV radio so its just the basic unit. I should have it Friday as its already been shipped.
The guy on the phone sadi I would be able to see fuel rail pressure but I didnt think that was available as a PID through the DLC?

Man Mark you are like an elephant with that Alternator. I figured with just losing my oil and EGR coolers it was time to buyt the Dash Daq. I am shooting for the fall on that alt. I would love to have it before the cold weather again.

congrats on the purchase. how do you plan to mount that bad boy? i'll be getting one soon after debating about dashdaq vs. insight the last couple weeks.
does anyone know if you can upgrade from the dashdaq to the phalanx? any idea how much $$ if is its possible? i want to install a monitor but since i'm still under warranty for another year would like to wait on the tunes or may not get them at all just wondering.
also, how are you guys mounting you DD? i remember a post by bismic (i think) using the proclip mount system. looked very nice when done. i am researching mounting a DD to the A pillar using one of the pods for a similar sized device and a swivel bracket or whaterver required hardware it would take. another option i've considered is the edge dash pod. just trying to explore all options before i throw down some $$.

I did use the Proclip system. It turned out OK w/ a few of the proclip accessories put together.
The cord connection placement stinks and you can't monitor FICM voltage. These are my only two DashDAQ complaints. I have sort of worked my way around the cord issues.
