The cloth covered line is the BEST!!! It is not the typical rubber fuel line and will hold up much longer. (I was told what it's called, it's makeup and forgot)
Being they used good hose I would suspect (ASSUME) that they also use Viton o-rings... That's good to know.
I asked and they told me they use Viton rings. The cloth on the lines I received didn't seem to have as tight a weave as what Jason received. The weave loosened and opened up when I cut the lines to length, bunched up and slid right off the rubber.

It also depends on what you use to cut it with. I used a set of razor utility cutters that cut without fraying the ends. You could also use a die grinder with a cutoff wheel. Either way, the clamps slipped over the hose easily.
I've never had an issue with return line leakage unless the caps have been removed.
I have been making aircraft hoses on and off for the last 20 years and what I do for the fabric coverd hoses is put masking tape around where you are going to cut it. Cut in the center where you wrapped the tape so both ends then do not come unraveled. Here is another tip, before using the new hose hose, flush them before you use them, you would be amazed at what gets into a hose that was once laying around in storage.

Chop saw or cutoff wheel go through them pretty quick and melt the outer material. Then cut the excess off with side cutters.
I sell the same kits and they DO NOT come with viton o-rings. In fact I have started supplying viton with them because the quality of the orings in the kits vary from ok to crap.
If anyone wants just the orings let me know. 5 clams will cover the cost and shipping.
