I am looking for return line for my injectors. It seams a piece melted and I do not want to buy a whole kit.I also need the clamps.
I have the smaller diameter line though I forgot what size it was.I ordered one kit and tit was too big.
What size is the smaller line ?
Will this line work from McMaster? 30R7 McMaster-Carr
Is this the one with the braided weaving around it?
McMaster does not have the clamps, neither does Granger.
Thanks
Sorry, head up butt, truck has a definite air leak.1992 Ford F350 7.3 Turbo Diesel.I tried to start today. It spun and spun and finally started, sputtered, lots of smoke also a little but then ran fine.I shut it off for about an hour and it started up no problem. It sat for about two weeks in the garage. There is diesel fuel on the intake Rear pass side and some on the pass side near ther last two glow plugs, like it dripped from somewhere. Is there anything back there that is known to leak.I replaced all the caps, orings and return lines last year at this time.It has run great up until a few weeks ago.I thought I had a bad batch of fuel but that was wishfull thinking.I am thinking that the line may have melted back there but it would be leaking lots.I have not taken anything apart yet.
The best way to troubleshoot is to get a flashlight and look back there with the engine running. Your injector line could also be leaking. My return lines were 3/16". Napa had it.
Yours with a turbo should have the fuel return crossover line ahead of the intake does it.....
Yes it does I thought it was leaking but from what I was able to see with the engine running it did not appear to be.I cannot see anything on the drivers side .The pass side is wet. I am gonna take the airbox off this weekend and dry everything off and see if I can locate it.I thought it was that line because it was against the turbo heat shield but its dry.I will report back.

Injector lines seem to be all dry. That is the first thing I checked.I thought it was coming from the cap also but ti was not.I can not see anything unless I take the airbox off.Gonna have to wait till the weekend.
