The VIN number will tell you what engine was in it from the factory. You can find this on the warranty plate located on the rear edge of the drivers door just below the latch mechanism.
Post it and we can decode it for you.
If it originally came with a 351M and you think that it's been swaped for another 351M there is no way to tell for sure whether this is the original engine or not.

Well i did that before, and i decoded it using FTE's decoder, and it told me it was a 351m which it is, but i dont believe thats the original motor being like a different year motor....
