No worries i am taking it easy on it at least until i get 500 miles LOL... The factory put 60 miles on it as it was one of the ones picked at random for testing.... I also see there are 2 labels on the factory pcm so they had already done a reflash for some reason.

Ford does not offer hitch in 6 foot bed version.. I was thinking of going with 8 foot bed just because of the hitch.

That accelleration sounds mean for a stock motor!
I could be wrong but it sounds like my SRT-10 Ram V-10?
I'm impressed.

Mike whats your seat of the pants feeling on this motor for it's ability to be a good RV puller. I was a die hard 460 fan until I bought my first V10 F350 CC SRW 4.30s (work truck), I had to go to Texas to pick it up on a dealer trade and half way home I knew I would have one to pull our RV with and in September we bought our present truck. So do you think that the 6.2 with the 6 speed will be a winner for us that pull heavy tall wide loads.

Have not had a chance to pull anything yet might hook up a bumper pull trailer this weekend to get a better seat of pants feel. I can tell you so far the engine likes to run at 3500 rpms and above to make its power, truck just comes alive in that range. In that range it feels like it pulls better there than the 3v V10 does.
There is lots of drive by wire lag/slow response down low on tip in.. which is how the 3v V10 are stock until its reworked with a calibration/tune. So Ford may have left some torque and power down low. The truck does not have the torque down low of a V10, dont get me wrong here its got torque but the V10 has great low speed torque.
I think i agree with what Mike the Ford Engineer has said, Thats its a great compromise between the 5.4L and 6.8L. If you tow 10k lbs - 15k lbs 20 times a year the truck is a great platform for that.. in my opinion.
I hope this helps some but I will really get a feel for the truck once we tow our 5ver a few times.

B&W
I'm sure you will get way better turning clearance with the 8'! I'm gonna try the 6' version with the Gooseneck from B&W. (It's offered through them!)
