I would think he has learned quite a bit about these trans sense he did yours. Were you there when he built yours?
Actually no. My wife went to see her mom (she's in Holiday Island) and I couldn't take the time off to go with her on that trip. I was able to talk over all my wants over the phone with Brian. When she brought it home, I drove it around the neighborhood and could not believe the difference in the way the truck ran. We might go back in the fall to that part of the world and if we do, I'll be paying Brian a visit, even if it's just to say hello and get another t-shirt.

Thats good to know Chris. You need to go and watch them build one, you will be so impressed.
Thanks everyone. Brian aske me if I wanted to keep the Diode part after he took it out. I looked at him and said, Brian, why would I want to keep something that I drove 600 miles and paying good money to get that out of my trans? He laughed and said some people do want to keep it, for some unknown reasons. lol.
Well Rick, depending the size of it, you could loop it with some string and throw it over your rearview mirror, would make for an interesting conversation piece. At RRE you would be a hit, we don't know what one looks like..

. Mike, it would pull the mirror down. It's heavy.

That's my plan next time I'm in that part of the country, I may try to save some pennies for him to do some other tweaks to the truck as well. But it will be nice to just watch him work.
The diode is kinda like having a busted rod or cracked piston laying around your shop after a rebuild. Makes for a good conversation piece.
After your great experience at BTS now I have to choose between Brian and John Wood.
If you lived within driving distance of Brian, I'd say it's a no-brainer. But you live within driving distance of John's place, so I'd say it's a no-brainer there.
Dennis at ITP Diesel is in AZ and he drives to Johns shop whenever Jody comes in for his yearly live tuning event.
