the noise is sthe limit slip cluthc chattering. when you turn a corner, the two tires have to turn at different speeds. the cluth slips. in a straight line, it dont do it... You need to go to Auto Zone and get a 7 oz bottle of friction modifier and add to the oil.. if your gear lube is original or old, you might want to change it out also. Use 75 w 140 synthetic.. takes 2 quarts i think,,, plus the friction modifier.
my 98 f150 4x4 did the same thing when I first got it. it had the tires and wheels changed from 17's to 16's so I put the 17's back on it and it stopped
